The Music Program of First Baptist Church, Atlanta, Texas, under the
direction of Dale Perkins, II, has a place for everyone - preschoolers to
Senior Adults.
Graded Choirs for children from age 4 through 6th grade meet every Sunday
during the school year. Several performances through the school year are
scheduled for these choirs.
Our youth choir, Celebration Singers, practices on
Sunday afternoon and leads out in the Sunday evening worship services. As a
part of that choir the praise team, One Accord, also takes part in
many worship activities. Both of these groups participate in Summer Youth
Choir tours and have gone to such places as Hawaii, Boston and Seattle.
CD's of these groups are available in the church music office.
Adults are invited to participate the sanctuary choir, First Praise.
This choir leads in worship every Sunday morning and along with the men's
ensemble, Master's Men, the men's quartet, Boundless Love,
and the adult Praise Team, they have presented several very moving musical
performances such as The Promise, Allen Asbury in Concert,
and The Sacrifice.
