First Baptist Church has a heart for people and a desire to minister first to their spiritual needs and then to their physical needs.
 

 
Mother's Day Out
Mother's Day Out (MDO) is a part of the Children's Ministry of First Baptist Church.  The purpose of this program is to give parents a "day out" while providing a happy, loving and Christ-centered environment for their children, ages 6 weeks through 4 years.  This program provides a variety of positive learning experiences through loving relationships and happy times.  MDO is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00AM - 2:30PM.  Contact the church office for more information.
 
 
 
Food Pantry 
The FBC Food Pantry ministry is an ongoing service to the people in this area.  The Food Pantry is operated entirely by volunteers who work 3 days a week giving out non-perishable food items and encouragement toIMG_0214.JPG (589157 bytes) approximately 375-400 Cass County families each month.

Upwards Basketball

Every Fall the Upward Basketball program gets under way giving local boys and girls in grades 1-6 an opportunity to be involved in a basketball program that is uplifting and character building, and along the way the children learn a little basketball.

 

Vacation Bible School

IMG_0091a.jpg (910901 bytes)Vacation Bible School is one of the highlights of the Summer for most boys and girls.  The FBC Vacation Bible School directors and leaders spend many hours in preparation for a week of fun will a little bit of learning thrown in.
